Dauphin is a city in Manitoba, Canada, with a population of 8,500, with an extra 2,500 living in the surrounding Rural Municipality of Dauphin, for an overall of 11,000 in the RM and City combined. Dauphin is Manitoba’s 9th biggest neighborhood and acts as a center to the province’s Parkland Region. Dauphin plays host to numerous summertime festivals, including Dauphin’s Countryfest and Canada’s National Ukrainian Festival. Dauphin is called the “Garden Capital of Manitoba.” Dauphin is served by Provincial Trunk Highways 5, 10 and 20 and is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Dauphin.
